In my opinion, MW3 looks like it should be DLC for MW2. Almost nothing has changed. BF3 isn't light years away from BF:BC2, but its made a lot of positive changes, and looks like a totally different game.

3D's an overhyped and overly expensive gimmick.
On the other hand, an actually decent GPU for that price range would be a start with improvements. :P

There's no way the difference in performance is even noticeable, you got a kickass mouse, no worries man :]

Opinion, opinion, opinion. Let him enjoy the game he wants to enjoy and you do the same. No need to fight.

@EvilCartographer I'm sure some of those close action sequences in the dogfights are mandatory, but I heard outside of maybe a few instances, its 100% optional.

I dunno. BC2 had that player cap and I've had my most intense video game experiences on PS3 with that game. I'm sure that this will be like that. As a matter of experience, playing nearly any game, namely BF2 with 64 players, or even just BC2 on PC with up to 32, it gets almost too hectic sometimes.

There's a veeeeery fine line between it being just perfect, and way too much. Taking a step out of your spawn and getting shot by 1 of 47 wookies is kind of that step over. :P

@CLOUD9 Bang for buck wise, the AMD Radeon 6870 might be the best. I got one myself and it can do BF:BC2 at max settings quite smoothly, so I assume BF3 will be okay :]
