Red Faction: Guerilla had one of the worst stories in a video game since Mirror's Edge, but the open world destruction was amazing. I remember last summer I downloaded the demo having no idea what the game was, played it at least 10 times, and then ran out and bought the game.
It's too bad they're focusing on the story this time and making it more linear. I mean, I usually prefer linear story-based games, but RF:G was one of the few open world games I really loved.
But hopefully as long as the destruction remains, the game will be fun. :)
They've clearly made a timed-exclusivity deal with Sony the same way Activision has with Microsoft. Why won't they admit it? It won't surprise anyone, they literally do everything that Call of Duty does.
I haven't been able to play BF:BC2 on 360 for weeks due to "unable to connect to EA servers" error messages.
I am a big fan of EA products, but their online service SUCKS. They don't seem to support their online-focused games beyond the first month or so, which is why I will probably start renting their multiplayer games in the future instead of buying them. :\
I'm getting sick of gamer entitlement. He's a game developer, not your girlfriend. Any gamers who feel emotionally distraught over a white lie meant to protect the experience of E3 surprises needs to re-evaluate their priorities.
