I was hoping to sell my 360 and Wii and move over to the Wii U, but every bit of information makes this less and less of a buy for me. I have been steadily going from "day one" to "let's wait for final information". I guess that is the way it should be, but this thing is really killing it's own hype.

I thought about it for a while then realized that I did not buy one thing from GameStop last year. Amazon has completely pulled me away from them with release date shipping and credits toward other purchases.
I have Plus and enjoy it for the most part. There are the occasional repeated games or games that I'm not interested in, but not enough for me to damn the service. Cloud saving is most definitely an added bonus for me if only for the ability to backup copy-protected saves.
If you have the money to spend I don't see why you wouldn't give it a shot. If you don't like it you don't have to renew.
