Man I love Grasshopper. It's too bad that this ISN'T directly related to Killer7, because I would absolutely love to see a modern interpretation of that game. It's still Suda's best in my opinion.

@Nionel If it's Nintendo themselves who are handling the localization, you can expect pretty great things. Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America basically have the best translators working in the gaming industry.

Not sure where the hate's coming from - this sounds pretty wonderful. I'm hoping for more of a set kind of narrative and maybe a little bit of a StarControl II influence (please?)

@The Great Cornholio I picked up Kid Icarus thinking it would be like a Sin and Punishment-esque experience, i.e., that it would take me about six hours to beat. But Kid Icarus is goddamned LIFE CONSUMING. That is one absolutely massive game.

While these online pass snafus are obviously irksome, what I still don't get is the fundamental thought process behind them in the first place (besides brazen, awful ultracapitalism). I don't lose chapters from books I buy secondhand, for instance. Make your games more compelling and maybe more people will be interested in buying them day-one, rather than punishing people for trying to save some money.

@The Pork Think third-person Metroid Prime Hunters and you're about halfway there.

@Mmmmz I actually really love stylus control when done right. In fact, I think that Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks still have some of the best non-traditional controls ever.

OK, look guys, I've been playing Mario games for 20 years and I found the special worlds pretty damned hard. We don't have to keep waving our e-dinks around everywhere.

Wii U please! It's the perfect console for this sort of game.
