If you can't afford competitive then don't play competitive. It's as simple as that. To keep up with standard tournament's you actually do end up spending hundreds of dollars. However, just play casual or vintage, that way you don't have to keep updating your cards.

DLC before a game launches. This is something I'm on the fence about. On one side, yeah, just put it in the freaking game. But on the other side I can see that they actually finish making a game at least a month before it comes out. So during that time maybe they worked on something really fast to add afterwards.

i think it's obvious. The ps3 is spent the least playing games because it can do the most besides playing games. If you have an XBox there's just not as much to do as a ps3 besides playing a game.

And just for comparison, what's the US movie industry generating?

I would just like to say that I progressed to select by simply doing what I always do. Play games buy games, and play more games, then buy more games. Now that i get rewards for doing it, I honestly see nothing to complain about here.
