Hey, some of us *like* The Conduit. It's certainly my most-played game this year.

If IW is so concerned about how the Wii version of Modern Warfare will impress people, maybe they should actually PUT SOME EFFORT into the Wii version instead of shuffling off a two-year-old quick cash-in port job to Treyarch. But then that'd require IW to actually develop a conscience first...

I don't think it's fair to diss Ubisoft's current and future Wii stuff. Yeah, they tossed a lot of crap on the system back near the launch, but their recent and upcoming Wii titles (barring the obviously-for-young-kids stuff) has been respectable: Shaun White Snowboarding, Anno/Dawn of Discovery, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, Rabbids Go Home -- it's definitely a lot better than the days of Far Cry Vengeance, y'know?

Bad review. You can tweak the grenade-throwing gesture to be as (in)sensitive as you want, or map it to a button instead.

The review missed one more group of potential customers for The Conduit: People Who Love Console FPSes and Hate Dual Thumbsticks. Who wants to fiddle with oddball stick controls when you can just point-and-shoot as nature intended?

Got it yesterday, played about three hours so far. While it's not the Greatest FPS Evar, it's a fun, solid game for people who just want to jump in and kick ass. Single player campaign is merely okay, but multiplayer is where it's really at.

Sorry to hear about the delay for PAL gamers, but I can't wait to get my mitts on this game next week. Just hope Gamestop doesn't have a shipping delay...

It's interesting to note that the picture accompanying this article doesn't show any Microsoft or Sony product. Is that a tacit admission from Joystiq editors that "hardcore" gamers are selfish, greedy, uncharitable folks? ;-)
