NBA 2K10 nets two million sales

I play 2k10 every night, at least three games. I think it is the greatest bball game I have ever played!

It's official! 802.11n standard finalized after a mere seven years

I'm sorry but I got to say something here. As an network engineer I know its not trivial to make something from Draft to standard. Theres a lot of thought and qualitiy checks that needs to go into a standard.

Think about it, they have to make sure it works for upwards of a couple hundred million possibly billions of devices. I think they want to make sure its correctly done.

Point your eyes toward this Lost Planet 2 co-op footage

I agree Levi,

I'm fine with co-op but I hate it when the game suffers in single player mode. Like you said it sucks playing single player with computer controlled co-op like having bad co-op A.I. or stupid 'game ends if co-op player dies rules' or even game is too difficult to play by yourself meaning you 'must' have a another human to win.

Some cases where playing an 'intended' m-player game as a single player:
1) When no ones on line where you are on the campaign.
2) You want to play a quick game in the middle of the night but cant find anyone (similar to #1)
3) You brought a used copy a year after the release and no one is online to play with.

EA exec: 360 has already been 'maxed out'

Jun 10th 2009 12:37PM (Joystiq)
@gordo

I read the article and it doesn't say that all tasks are done on the "on board processor". The custom processor may process some of the initial sensor data. But I think that a lot of the major tasks are done by the 360.

For example do you think that the Wii could run Natal, if you just attach the camera to it? I doubt it.

Obviously the addon just adds a new better camera and mic. But the most of the processing of Natal is done using the 360 hardware. Its called post-processing.

Hands-on: Lost Planet 2

Yeah I have to also agree. Not sure why lots of people didn't like it. The story was lacking but the game play was absolutely fun. Isn't that 80-90% the point of a game?

My strategy is "Store and Forward"

Preview premium NXE themes before you buy

Jan 28th 2009 12:27PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I absolutely agree with you. Its actually pretty obvious why XBL do not give you "real" previews. They hope that people will spend money on a couple of themes that really suck until they find one they like.
