In a lot of ways I felt like Quantic Dream took everything that made Indigo Prophecy groundbreaking, streamlined it and called it Heavy Rain. Now don't get me wrong, Indigo Prophecy isn't exactly what I'd call a perfect game; but it had that feeling of great things can come from it. It's still one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time. Infact, I'd say Bioware even owes them for how conversations & interaction are handled by the player.

Not much in Heavy Rain. It's more or less a jumbled mess of questions.

Actually it didn't bother me in the slightest. But I'm just saying WHY exclusives DO matter. It's dumb for people to say things like "Oh they don't matter cause X reason for Y. " And Sigma 2 is more or less the better version where they ripped out everything that made the game cheap and nigh impossible at times.

Say what you want. But exclusives DO matter, whether you want to admit it or not. What's the point in buying one console over the other if they are gonna share the same games? I decided to sell my 360 because the exclusives didn't interest me anymore, but everytime I looked at the PS3 I saw yet another game that I wished would come on the 360. Doesn't help I was anticipating games releasing that weren't coming out on my system at all. And it doesn't really help that most of the games I anticipated ended up ported on the PS3 with better features/graphics ala Ninja Gaiden 2.

So while we can argue semantics over exclusives all day no matter what I say I'll just be a "fanboy."

It wasn't that hard. But it punished in the vein of a piano teacher slapping your knuckles with a ruler till you got it right. 5-2 was a big one for me I thought I'd NEVER finish, but then I realized maybe I shouldn't be fighting Giant Depraved Ones no matter how good my fire spell is. Learned to lure one out, kill him then demolish the other one.

The thing about Demon's Souls is that even though it drives you with loot lust to get better weapons and armor, it's all about skill! Just ask the many black phantoms with a crazy ass amount of armor and bone crusher swords I've defeated with ease :)

Far as I'm concerned, it's a day 1 purchase. TGS live-blog elsewhere stated it's being made for those who enjoyed Demon's Souls.

I don't care, just bring it on already!

The story (What little there is a game like DMC) was wrapped up with 4. The order is 3 - 1 - 4 - 2. I always figured there was gonna be a reboot or a side story to continue DMC, which is why it's taken them so long to announce anything.
