Probably because the Wii was fully BC, while the XB360 only played a small number of XBox games.

I know, right? I don't get to enjoy half the mind-bendingly awesome games that you lucky PC owners have the privelege of playing. And seeing as to how you, sir, clearly view us console-owners as teenagers from the 90's who care solely about graphics, I also cut myself every time I am forced to stare at the likes of Uncharted 3, Rayman Origins, Gears of War 3, and other gigantic visual disappointments.

And it's not like Levine's out to make a gimicky control scheme. He said it himself: the DS3 can be a barrier of entry for more inexperienced casual gamers who may love the stories of games, but can't use a standard controller.

Thank you. But I hope most of this DLC is at least Veteran Packs. Mind you, I wouldn't buy any of this extra stuff just for a Vet Pack, but I'd sure feel shafted if it only came with a lousy Recruit Pack..

Your problem is you're only looking at one side of the Used games business. Instead of only seeing the half of the picture where publishers lose out money because of Used sales, look at it from the perspective of the consumer who sells their games to buy other new games. If the Used game industry goes under, a lot more people won't be buying new games anymore, because a large part of their buying power comes from their ability to sell their old ones.

Does anyone else think sales here in the U.S. might be helped by income tax returns? It releases right around that time, and I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to using a small portion of my return on the Vita..

Pre-orders are the best way to ensure that the proper store is amply stocked with the proper product.
