To stay on topic I really like the art style with the exaggerated features, I think it will make it easier to quickly see the difference between friend and foe in a fast paced fire fight. I'm loving all the color in the levels as well as the different landscapes and variable terrain. I have to say this is one of the only FPS games I'm really looking forward to for 2011.
This game is looking better and better the more I see and read about it. I'm most excited about the new S.M.A.R.T. movement. My biggest complaint about FPS games was always the way the movement or lack of movement around the terrain. Most levels looked awesome but you couldn't actually interact with it. This game lets me climb over slide under and hide behind just about every thing you see in the level. Should make for some really fun cat and mouse gun fights. I kinda wish you could see your leg's like in Mirrors Edge but this is a huge step in the right direction as far as the type of game play I want to see more of in FPS games. Now give me the option to use MOVE support and really up the anti!
@Inspace2020 Deamon's Souls 2 w/Move support would be epic! I was just talking to my buddy about that the other day. It doesn't get much more hard core than that!
I'm pretty sure you can play the original Resident Evil 5 with move support I think the only reason they keep saying "Gold Edition" is because it's the only one you can still buy new.
"They canceled Heavy Rain DLC for this...?" No it's still on track (nice try though)
The fact that Sony's Move inspires people so much is a very good thing for us gamers. I'm pretty sure game developers are just as if not more inspired by all the things possible with PS Move. This is what a lot of the Wii owners where expecting the Wii to do in the first place so I have a good feeling there will be plenty of Wii converts. I like to think of Nintendo's Wii as a gateway drug to better gaming. I personally know of a few friends that where never into gaming, bought the Wii and now want something better with HD and more precise control and here comes the PS Move.
I'll be getting 2 wands and 2 Navigators just in case a friend wants to play and also so I can use 2 wands if the game calls for it. There are already a ton of games that already work with Move and more getting support it seems almost daily. I can't wait to see what new games this hardware inspires in the future.
P.S. is Anton working out or is it just all the tech demos he's been doing? He doesn't look as skinny as he did a few months back. Move Side effect = toned arms?
I'd love to see a new Mirrors edge game but I'd like to see the controls changed around a but. I felt they where a little clumsy with all the triggers and the fighting was a little strange but could be easily fixed with a new control scheme. I'd also like to see a more open world that you could explore a bit instead of a liner path that you have to take. I think what I like most was the Full body FPS view that didn't break no matter what you did like roll or climb. It was very immersible that way.
Looks fun!! I wonder if you mounted the camera to the side of the TV it would make the on screen version of me look more natural. Either way Ill be getting this. My Nephew is going to go nutz playing this game lol Hell I might make this part of my workout routine Tuesday night Kung Fu =P
