Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion returns to the Castle

The epitome of laziness -- game looks good as a $5 iOS title, nothing more. I was really hoping for something closer to the Wii version.

Apocalypse from X-men vs. Street fighter always said it best :)

Max Payne 3's latest trailer introduces Max's expensive motives

Feb 16th 2012 5:55PM (Joystiq)
Having played the first Max Payne way back when, I think that the trailer is going for a more 'Kane and Lynch' guerrilla look than the graphic novel noire presentation of the original.

I could very well turn out to be a well crafted game worthy of Rockstar's reputation but I just don't see much 'Max Payne' about this game.

I need Mass Effect in my Vita! Or is it Vita in my Mass Effect? I forget.

Would be great to see more studios here in New York.

Resident Evil: Revelations' price lowered to $39.99 before launch

@dakun

It isn't really a 'normal' 3DS game. Its got more production values than pretty much anything else out there. Still, at $40 it should be much more appealing despite being worth $50.

This is good news for all.

Finally, a triple A game with a developer who understands the market.

New side-scrolling Super Mario headed to 3DS

@tendoboy1984

I'm not against 2d games, I like some of the modern ones.

99% of ios games are 99 cents. Xbox live arcade games are $5-$10.

If you like 'copy and paste 2d' games for $50 then that's fine. Don't be ignorant to the cost of producing these 2D Mario games; Nintendo is making a killing off of these 'throwbacks'.

Me, I'd like to see Nintendo innovate and stop whoring out my childhood experiences.

@Vanor

Sadly, I think you are correct in pointing out the correlation between 2D games and sales.

Excluding Zelda, Nintendo lost me last generation with the direction of the DS and the Wii. Unfortunately, I think it'll be the same this time around :(
