It's really sad that there are still so many ignorant people out there who hate someone just because they choose to love someone of the same sex. Do these people ever think that one of their friends or relatives may be gay? I'd like to ask these people if they would hate, disown, or even gay bash one of their own friends or relatives just because of this. Who a person chooses to love is an important part of a gay or straight person's life, but it's just a small part of a person's whole. Unfortunately, people that have a problem with gays judge them solely on who they sleep with in bed. There's sort of the same problem with religion. If a person isn't hurting others, why can't some people just allow that person, whether it be a Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, straight, gay, etc., to believe in what makes them happy. Politics, money, and greed are causing the world to crumble around us. Why are we making it a more horrible place by hating others for who they love? It's really sad and unfortunate, but I'm sure that there are people out there who would bash a friend, relative, or stranger over the head with a bat because they choose to love a person of the same sex.
