i wonder if this prestige edition will be as limited as the limited edition halo 3 helmets that have sat on the shelves of best buy for months after it's initial release...:/

it seems you'd rather play another silent hill that plays the exact same way as the previous 5 or so SH games? The series desperately needs a overhaul. I thought it would be with Homecoming..not so much.

you guys should be used to peripherals by now. It's another popular form of interaction with videogames these days. If it weren't for those dreaded peripherals, rockband/guitar hero, ddr, wii fit, wouldn't be what they are today. Do you think 10 years (give or take a few) down the line we'll still be using an anolog stick to control the action in videogames?

It worked for that game but the monsters in Silent Hill were not spooky apparitions revealed by your smart phone, but physical manifestations of delusions"...umm at what point in any of the previews did they state that you reveal or attack the enemies thru your camera phone? From what i read, it's used to help solve clues and doubles as your menu screen & map.

i believe that's what the last silent hill game on the ps3 and x360 was.

it's no longer ash, it's been replaced with snow and ice. It's good that they've replaced it. Because quite frankly the rusty dingy setting was getting tiresome. And as much as some may not like the switch, this series was in serious need of an overhaul.
