Most big companies have their YouTube channel's join dates set to around that summer 2006 time (just look at NBC, Fox Searchlight), the correlation is just a coincedence.
Bit odd, why disassociate it from two successful games? Hopefully it goes the way of MW2 and adds DeathSpank back to the name, if this is the "final chapter" why get rid of it now?
:( I guess Activision keeps the Blur IP though? Would be awesome if Microsoft bought them and the Blur IP and we saw PGR5 in 2012 followed by Blur 2 in 2013 :P
