iTunes support confirmed for Palm Pre

May 28th 2009 4:30PM (Engadget)
@ iKurt 5D

It's amazing that you know the iPhone is superior. I want the Pre very badly but haven't had a chance to see for myself if it's better than the iPhone but you, a clear iPhone fan must have had enough time with the device to already come up with a conclusion that warrants your comment.

iTunes support confirmed for Palm Pre

So sales is what dictates what gets reported on? The Pre is a revolutionary device, each version of the iPhone has been evolutionary. There is a reason the Pre is the most anticipated gadget of the year and it's worth being reported on as much as it has, especially since it's only been recently where we have gotten official news about the Pre from official sources.

Valve: Left 4 Dead pre-sales outpacing Orange Box

Oct 17th 2008 12:06AM (Joystiq)
Isn't this because the Orange Box was also released on the PS3 and also the Orange Box got really popular after it was released because Portal became a cult hit once people discovered it after buying it for the other games?

Oh man, I have a pass to todays show, not last nights and i'm so bummed I missed it. Besides hearing Coulton do "Still Alive" which is always amazing, he covered an awesome TMBG song! Sigh.

Burnout Paradise 'Bikes Pack' throttles back to September

I've never seen a company be better with DLC than Criterion. Your getting me to buy this game even though I never wanted it just because i'm constantly curious what the next update will bring.

Every other company in the world, you might wanna take note.

Joystiq hands-on: Skate 2

Aug 4th 2008 6:41PM (Joystiq)
Getting off the board is crucial to Skate 2. I think if they wanted realism, I think this was a necessary step. It would be even better if you could be on foot and climb to higher ground. If Skate goes for realism, they really should consider adding these features.

Also, as lame as this might be and completely ruin the fun gameplay mechanic, I would like for my skater to get fatigued when constantly skating up hills for a while. It might not be fun but it would inspire me to take the subway more often or even include taxis in the game to take you to certain points on the map.

I think all of these options can be added rather easily since it's not a huge gameplay change but to make this game even more realistic would be heaven to an already amazing game.
