I agree some of these can be checked, although not quite exactly as it's stated.

GTA DLC did get announced, just not at E3. Nonetheless it's announced.
360 software DID go digital, just that it's older titles. A check nonetheless.

I'd propose finding a copy of Fallout 3. If it happened in real life, surely a video game could provide clues to how we could save ourselves!
