Bethesda: Wii U Skyrim 'definitely a possibility'

@whylekat Nintendo is probably giving them a whole lot of money.

Hayashi: Ninja Gaiden 3's dismemberment-free gameplay adds meaning to the violence

lame, you might care the first couple of times, but after your 12th kill you wont care(it will actually get annoying after that). Besides, there is absolutely NO reason not to include both modes of gameplay. I watched the gameplay demo and all I could think of during the combat was "Why isn't arms/legs/head flying everywhere?" It really is disconcerting. Who are the idiots who come up with this stuff?

Bethesda tempted by A Game of Thrones adaptation

Actually, its probably good that they didn't get it, while the game would have been fun, it would have been watered down and kid friendly, even if they had the M rating on it. I would rather CD project do it, or another company with the elder scrolls engine.

Star Wars ads find their way into Deus Ex: Human Revolution loading screens

Wow, it was bad enough when games had it on billboards, but to put it right on a loading screen? Any game that supports this intrusive advertisement, I HOPE people pirate it.

Blizzard to release six 'proven' properties over next three years

Sep 11th 2011 6:40AM (Joystiq)
@Foetoid riiiiight, example of blizzard rabid fanboy. Blizzard could have easily included all three races in the first game and still had three games made. It might have included some rewriting (GOD FORBID!), but considering how mediocre the story was, that probably would have been a good thing imo. They split the races up for profit and nothing else, if you are happy then goody for you, but don't waste time arguing that it was to make great games. I PLAYED the first game, it was decent, but not great and definitely not worth the wait.

Meh, if this had been the old blizzard (prewow), I would have been jumping for joy. However, getting a taste of their direction after wow with starcraft 2, I am seriously underwhelmed. Starcraft 2 was definitely not a bad game, but it was not a great game either. They played it too safe by changing very little, the story was the most basic generic scifi story they could have come out with(oh, and splitting up the races to different games for no reason except for more money didn't help). Then you have the whole game tied to an account where you have to log in just to play a singleplayer game (which you cannot change your name from). Like I said, meh. That was a taste, however I was already getting pretty bad vibes from the diablo III screens/vids. When I watched it, I was seriously like. "is this diablo III or wow?" Anybody who complained about the visual style was shouted down by the blizzard fans or made fun of by blizzard itself. Sorry, after being disappointed with starcraft 2, think I will probably save or spend my money or better games. I am sure their will be a ton of people who will love the game and I am happy for them, but I will not be one of them.

Bioware hints at the future of Dragon Age DLC and 3

Aug 31st 2011 9:44AM (Joystiq)
@Enigma7ic no, he did help make DAO, but it was another developer(name escapes me) who did most of the work making DAO a true old school RPG. However, when they were making DA2, that developer REFUSED to work on that turd DA2 and quite shortly after it.

Bioware hints at the future of Dragon Age DLC and 3

I don't know why everyone is getting excited, the guy who made DA2 is making DA3. While I suspect it will be better than DA2, it will still be just a flashy cinematic game where you have some token choices, the story will be generic, the characters will be forgettable, and after you play it once, you will not play it again. Oh, and the majority of the big mysteries in the game will be solved as overpriced DLC(thanks EA!) on release day. bah, bioware is dead, its a shame to see this reanimated corpse pretending to be alive.
