A couple of years ago, a bunch of my extended family came over for Thanksgiving. My uncle remarried a few years back, and his new wife is pretty nutty. She's had it out for me ever since she found out I was an animator because she thinks the only appropriate thing on TV is "Meerkat Manor."

She's also INCREDIBLY strict with her kids. So this little boy, my cousin-in-law, I guess, sees my Nintendo DS and flips-the-eff-out. He's not allowed to play video games at home, because they are "bad." So he grabs it without asking and starts playing. "Fine," I say, and it keeps him busy for a few hours. Unfortunately, he's also got some pretty big attention issues, and if he gets fixated on something he doesn't let it go.

He REFUSED to give me back my DS by the end of the day. And this kid was very small and very fast. I couldn't catch up with him to just take the thing back. Luckily, his mom caught him and quite literally dragged him by the ear to the car. And you know what she told me? "Don't poison my kids with your garbage."

Definitely world 4-3 of Super Mario Bros. 2. It's the one where Fryguy is the boss. He's cool enough as is, and a challenging boss fight, but it's even more satisfying taking the massive shortcut in the level by playing as the Princess. All you have to do is fly from one section of the outside to another, and you get to skip most of the inner chamber section of the level and go right to Fryguy himself.

One step forward, two steps backward. Yeah, I remember thinking earlier that indeed, in some clothing, the DOA girls' breasts would behave independently. But Jesus, they ramped it up from "jiggle" back to "bounce," and it's almost as bad as the unrealistic bounce from the very first game.

This series has run itself into the ground. DOA 1 was okay, DOA 2 was great for its time, and what's changed since DOA 2? Nothing but graphics, and I guess in this case, breast physics. Hey Team Ninja, just focus on the Ninja Gaiden games, please?
