Jeez people, relax! Let's give some faith to 343 and appreciate the awesome video trailer for the time being. This is Microsoft's baby still; they're not going to let anyone completely ruin it.

Besides, wouldn't it be frickin' SWEET to have access to a whole new world of guns to choose from? Let's get some more details before flipping out and claiming it's been COD'd.

How did that work out for the servers on launch?

To be honest, I can't really figure out what the point of their "beta" was. Didn't convince non-believers to want it, and if anything pushed millions away from it.

Haha, if anything BF3 showed that the consoles (compared to PCs) have NO fight left. I can't wait for the next generation of consoles...it is LONG overdue!

If you're playing on the PC, you're playing a completely different game than the consoles get to play. This game was a huge hype lie by EA/DICE.

There's no more teamwork in this game than CoD or any FPS for that matter. If you join up with a squad that plays together, you will have a better chance of winning...just like in ANY other game. I'm tired of people saying this is different for that reason. In fact, I had a horrible experience in the beta and usually found people rarely talked and were much less cooperative than any CoD or Halo game I've played.

Play with your friends, just like in any game, and you will have more success than playing with strangers, but BF is not revolutionary in its teamwork aspect.

Brilliant strategy by EA/DICE...almost forcing the reviews for the console to come out AFTER the game is released so that if it gets bad reviews it will be too late for those who purchased the game already. Very brilliant, especially after that sub-par "beta" experience.

On that note, hope the game is good, but I will definitely not be picking it up first day as a result.

That is very incorrect. Every single person I talked to about the BETA was thoroughly unimpressed and many of them decided to cancel their preorder as a result - and many of those were BF faithful.

I'll be waiting for the reviews before picking this up.
