My guess is France. There were French soldiers in AssCreed:Bro, Ezio speaks French and made a comment during one of the sequences about French courtesans, and then there's that whole Merovingian thing they have going on.

One of the reasons I love DS2 so much is that is pays homage to all the sci-fi/horror tropes in such an awesome way. The opening is just one of them. My favorite part of this sequence is Franco's last line:

"Isaac, you are in terrible terrible da-gaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Right up there with Samuel L. getting nommed by a killer shark.

I'm playing this on my 1st gen 32gig touch and it's running fine. There are a few framerate hiccups here and there, but usually when I first fire it up and then it smooths out.

Interesting to see Luddy put Blur on his list instead of Split Second
