Online gaming servers survived for a long long time before any of this online pass BS or even XBL Gold.

Crap like this is why I have gone back to PC gaming.

Take Shift 2 for example. The console version was $60 new and had online pass, then the DLC was $10 each. Used the game right now at gamestop is $50, so add $10 for online pass and a used copy costs just as much as new.
The PC version was $50 at release. So brand new it is still cheaper than a used console copy.

Hahahahaha...Revenge of the nerds much? I mean seriously, the people using this to ban free players need to get a life.

If you have such a small amount of space left on your computer that you need to use one of your leftover FAT32 drives, one must question how well the game is even going to run on your system. If you can't afford more storage space, which is dirt cheap these days, there is no way in hell you could afford a single one of the various interal components that could play this game.

Either that or delete some of your porn or pirated media to free up space...

I take it you never played any of the GTA's on PC then, no?
Not a single one of them was bug free or ran all that great on PC's at release. Hell, GTAIV barely runs good on anything but a really high end PC which is highly pathetic.

To the people saying the reviews and reports indicate it looks better on the PS3; they said the same thing about GTAIV, but it wasn't exactly true. While the 360 version suffered from dithering, the PS3 version was indeed more blurry. So it was more of a personal preference thing between blur or dither. Therefore, neither actually looked better than the other, just slightly different.

The people who question why one would have a game on both consoles; they normally didn't buy it for both consoles. Modified 360 dvd drive firmware is a very common practice.....

To anyone who dared to say a few multi-platform games looked better on the PS3......drugs are bad, mmmkay. On par, you bet your sweet ass. Better, no way in hell.

Regardless of who had the initial idea or started it, Rockstar published it.

Not sure how long you have been keeping up with the industry, but there is not a single large scale publisher that never interferes with the development process.
