@whylekat What I think is more scary is the person responsible for that tweet. They essentially are the voice of the gigantic hive-mind internet retailer from the perspective of the young "Bieberite" generation of gaming.

I remember the days when MAYBE one good game would come out a month. We all afforded it, talked about it over recess and played it beyond completion. Now it's like I have to choose my strain of ecstasy and what limited edition packaging it comes in with exclusive pre-order bonuses with multiple exclusivities depending on which platform I choose!

Now that gaming is so mainstream, I can't afford enough cash or time to enjoy this hobby to it's full potential. I still have a backlog of PS2 games I want to START, including Persona 4.

*sigh* I suppose there's when I retire...

Someone... Please take the DSiWare SDK from your little brother...
