I first played halo a week after it came out. I was a devout follower of the local netcafe that had 36 machine LAN setup for CS:S. I didn't think I needed anything else.

My friends convinced me to give Halo a go. "Oh man, jeez. THE HECK, EXPLODING PINK NEEDLES?! I have POWER ARMOR SHIELDS! This magnum IS RIDICULOUS! Friggin' friggin laser bolts, EVERYWHERE!"

This was just my reaction to my first match on Battle Creek, still my favorite memory of halo.

I'd finally play this so my sister can stop nagging me to learn an instrument. If any of the oldies in the home liked The Ramones, that would be pretty cool to play for them.
