@ThePotato I don't think Skyward Sword could possibly ever be the Mario Galaxy 2 of 2011... because Mario Galaxy 2 was an infinitely better and more fun game.

Batman is my #1 for the year, but I expect their 1 and 2 to be Skyrim and Portal 2, both of which are fine choices respectively.

It always seems to me that Amazon has the best preorder bonuses... $1 Release Date delivery and tax-free ordering. Couldn't ask for better ones when you're a lazy, cheap bastard like me.

Need we mention Portal and Portal 2? Where the objective is simply to save yourself from an external tormentor? Sometimes the most interesting stories are the ones that revolve around you, the player or character rather than what's happening to the world at large.

Got LA Noire today for $12 and Dead Space 2 earlier this year for less than 10. I no longer subscribe to their service, but i still love shopping there for used games.
