Ugh...say it with me kids: "Final nail in the coffin."
On the day this releases, everyone should pop in the masterpiece that is the original Devil May Cry, revel in its Stylish Hard Action and shed a tear for the one true Dante, may he rest in peace.
Dante is dead, long live Bayonetta. May she never suffer the same inglorious fate.
No, I don't know what reboot means. Would you kindly explain it to me with another wall of text that I will not bother to read past the first sentence?
And just for the record, I really like Ninja Theory as a developer of their own original IPs. But as I stated in my original (and brief) comment, I think it's a bad pairing. I hope I'm wrong and it turns out great. We shall see.....
The Devil May Cry series has long been my favorite game series of all time but Ninja Theory developing this reboot just seems like a terrible pairing. The ONLY developer (aside from Capcom) that could possibly do the series justice is Platinum Games, since they've already proven they can out-Dante Dante with the awesome Bayonetta.
I don't know if Ninja Theory will be able to pull of the "Stylish Hard Action" that Hideki Kamiya created with the first DMC. It's obvious that the stylish look is already absent.
The smoking is lame too. Kamiya himself intentionally made Dante a NON-smoker. Guess we're just going to crap on that concept, huh, Ninja Theory?
On top of all of that, do we need another NT game where the hero has a transforming sword? Really? Now I'm in a bad mood. Don't talk to me, I'm sulking.
Agreed. I ALWAYS give other free roamers the benefit of the doubt and absolutely never start trouble, assuming others won't try to kill me when I'm minding my own business.
But when the inevitably do, I enjoy unloading unseemly amounts of bullets into their skulls. And if I just happen to do that a bunch of times in a row to try to teach a lesson, now I'M the bad guy because I defended myself from an unwarranted attack.
Love the game, but bad move with the anti-griefing measures, Rockstar!
Trailer and screens for Ubisoft's Outland look outstanding
Sep 30th 2010 4:32PM (Joystiq)You're right about the HD button. I've had the same problem. A more obvious on/off indicator would be great.
As for the game, it does look very cool and reminds me of Out of This World and Flashback a little bit.
