@Golgo13 Some of us have lives that involve a lot of different types of socializing, with one of those being getting a group of friends together to play video games.

Having a game with some local multiplayer is great for that sort of thing.

Also, my wife and I like to play games together when the weather's bad and we can't go out to do things as much. I need local multiplayer for that.

It is possible to play video games and still have friends outside of your video game world.

@Jinketsu You've been able to do custom ringtones since the Mango update. I have a bunch of custom ringtones on my HTC Arrive.

It's working now. Still a little slow, but i got through and purchased it.

They seem to be having some server problems. It was working when i first tried to get on there, but now i'm getting a 404 Not found error. Come back! I NEED TO GIVE YOU MY MONEYS!

I saw Ur-Quan, Diablo, Jet-Jaguar, and then when the gameplay hit, it was Metroid meets Contra. Strange mix.

This is the best news i've heard in weeks. Alan Wake is an incredibly fun game. I've played through it like 4 times already. This will definitely help push me over to buying the new xbox (as if there were a huge question).

Star Control 3 was still fun. It just didn't live up to the awesomeness of 2. The story was a lot less interesting and the fighting wasn't as fun. Overall, it was still a good game, but i think everyone was let down when they wanted a repeat of the greatness of 2.

For $6 I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That's some pretty senseless vulgar humor. I don't see the appeal. If anything this would make me less interested in owning the game.

Not all of us like perverted humor in our video games. Why do more and more game developers jump on the idea that you need some sort of sexual reference, whether it's a joke or just straight out sex scenes to sell a game or make it fun? Every time they do this sort of thing it drops the value/quality of the game to people like me.

For example, Red Dead Redemption seemed like a sweet game and I almost bought it until i found out about the sex scene in it. Now, they're not getting my money.

I think the video game industry is forgetting that a lot of people want a mature style game, without the filth.

Far Cry 2 was a total disappointment when it has absolutely nothing to do with the original Far Cry. Far Cry 1 was a great game, and Far Cry 2 tried to ride off the name.

With how that all ended up, why is even surprising that Far Cry 3 wouldn't end up like Far Cry 2? They haven't been even the slightest bit consistent in the first place.

To echo a lot of people on here, this game is amazing. I've already played through it (on the gamecube) and it's definitely worth the $10 to me to be able to play it again. I've been waiting around forever for a sequel. Hopefully this is a good sign that it'll be coming in the not too distant future. Go buy this game!
