PSA: Call down Lightning in Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC today

Seriously though, we can blame two things (Besides corporate greed):

-The insane development costs and development times for games nowadays. And that includes North American companies and not just the JP devs who won't change their business structure.

-The clamoring and for the "convenient" online distribution over "awful, outdated" physical media. We just gave companies an easy avenue to gouge us. God forbid, we use gas and take our cars instead of paying additional for more internet bandwidth.

@lagomorph Why stop there? Someone should release a full game with ALL the content already on the disc, charge full price, then charge you just to get to the title screen. Then pay extra to unlock the single-player. And if there is a multiplayer component, then another fee. The options menu should cost the most to unlock, since that adds additional value to the purchase, which is not fair the developers as it's taking valuable dollars from them.

Excellent. If this "Nintendo Network" is a new service, I guess we can expect it to be fully supported for the Wii U's successor. Can't wait.

These hackers could make so much money in legitimate ways since obviously have skills. Instead, they'd rather circle jerk and compare the size of their e-dicks with the rest of their hacker buddies AND force random people to play along and join in.

Can't even get mad anymore. Honestly, it's just tiring reading about these guys trying to screw over legitimate companies and their customers.
