The Godfather game makes excellent use of the controls- I can't imagine playing it any other way. (I never owned any of the consoles it previously appeared on). If EA makes more good games like this, ports or not, I'm buying.

Personally, I would love to play this game. I skipped the last round of consoles so all these "ports" are new to me. I'm totally enjoying playing The Godfather right now. It's a blast to snap the wiimote and nunchuck together and break someone's neck.
I don't want to play old GC games on the Wii- I want to use the new controller. If I wanted to use a standard controller, I would play on my 360- something I haven't done since the Wii came out last November. (I may break that abstinence when Forza 2 comes out).
Funny how all these posters assume these games are "re-hash" for everyone. The Wii has a lot of new gamers (myself included) that are going to buy these games and play them.
I've had my 360 for a year now and have 3 games for it. I've got 10 games already for the Wii, and am looking forward to adding more.
So much for horsepower and graphics- if I could only have one console it would be the Wii, no contest.

Agreed that the Wii is for everyone...my dad hasn't played a video game since the original Pong. It was great to see him and my stepmother (who never played a vg in her life) boxing each other on the Wii! (She kicked his arse too, lol).

Since we got the Wii at launch, the 360 has been terribly neglected. It did spring back to life this week with the new DDR, but other than that, is only on a few days a month.
I don't care to be online with any console, so that's never been a selling feature for me.

I have a lot of Sony products around the house (DVD player, camcorder, PSP, DVD burner, etc) so I don't want Sony to fail, but I would like them to not get away with charging such outrageous prices for a game console. Already rumors about the next 360 have it inching closer to the PS3 in price. I know I won't pay that kind of money just to play games and my friends won't either.

In all honesty, it was this game/media novel/whatever that convinced me to go out and buy a DS last week. I play/read it for about an hour at a time. It's a good way to wind down the evening.
I would definitely be in the market for more of this type of "game" in the future....

I guess I'm one of the 5% that doesn't have wi-fi going with my 360 (too expensive and no real interest in getting online). Don't have any reason for an HD player of any kind either.

I actually did hook up the Wii wi-fi just to see what it was like (and it was free). I have no interest in VC games or surfing the net on it though. The weather channel has nice elevator music lol.

The 360 is a good console, but if it has upgrades coming, it's going to make me wish I had waited to buy it... I won't buy another one. Other people might now be waiting for the newer and better version to come out instead of purchasing now.

I would say "I", but then what would I have to laugh at? My co-workers are nowhere near as blindly amusing....

Kmart had a sign up that they didn't have any, even though they advertised they did.

Target- none. People who went there then stormed elsewhere.

Best Buy- a line of 10 overnight campers at 6 AM. By 10AM, there was a line all the way in front of the store and out into the parking lot for only 45 Wii's.

I got in line at Circuit at 6 AM and was #2 for 16 Wii's- anyone who came after 7:30 AM missed out. Store opened at 10 and they gave out tickets at 9:15 AM.

From what I saw, demand still exceeds supply, at least in the Baltimore area. There were some people stupid enough to come at opening and then get hissy that they didn't have any left...
