Expect the Xbox to revert to bombing now the initial pre-order rush is out the way.

No games and expensive cost of ownership is taking a huge toll on Xbox sales globally. When Xbox dies, most owners are taking the oppertunity to upgrade to PS3.

A UK retailer is even offering 3 free PS3 games (Uncharted2, LBP and Killzone2) with a 120GB/250GB PS3 purchase if you take in a Xbox360 with RROD!!!

PS3 YLOD is less than half a percent. RROD is over 60%, that is why they don't buy the Xbox. It's a laughing stock everywhere but it's home turf where gamers are blind.

Still quite bad, even the Slims are not immune, a friend at works Slim lasted 2 weeks before it came up with a overheating error, shut down, and never came back on.

He took it back and got a PS3 thankfully.

You seem to think American PS3 sales are more important than they really are (in the same way Joystiq think NPD data and Neilson stats are important).

People need to wake up, GLOBAL numbers are what are important.

PS3 outsold the Xbox by 2.2m units in 2009, and it's outsold it by 2.8m units in 2010 to date. Most of that is not the US sales (the US consumers are brainwashed by the US media into supporting the US console)
