"Why would I buy this on UMD when the new PSP 2 wont support it?"

Maybe because I bought Patapon 2 without the UMD, not realizing, and no matter who's internet I try, I still have yet to ever finish downloading the game to play without it timing out.

I'm just waiting for the Virtual Console Gameboy to come out so I can get the good version of Donkey Kong, Super Mario Land (2&3), and some others I can't think of right now. Plus, maybe a patch soon that'll let people use SD cards as memory cards in N64 games, and link gameboy games together via online (if they ever get that far...)

But couldn't you get that picture on a capital one credit card if you used that picture? Or any other gaming pic? Or are there copyright laws that interfere with that...?

And the PS3 didn't do this??? I thought that's why they made it a Blu-Ray player as well, to sell PS3s as the cheapest Blu-Ray player, causing people to buy the console, and no games. At least the Wii is having people buy a few games, even if they are all Wii ___ and Mario games.

The next MMO I'm waiting for is a full scale Dynasty Warriors MMO. Of course, first they have to allow more units on the screen at one time...

Wow, somebody hates the Rev. before it even came into the world. And, the thing you have to understand with most people that want a Rev is that they don't need the top of the line graphics, just some good graphics with great gameplay.

And, the figures of sales aren't even just the Japanese buying it. Their are plenty of young military people stationed in the Tokyo region, and I bet many of them are buying the 360s, either for a quick buck on e-bay if it's still selling, or so they can have the system for themselves. Heck, if I lived closer to Tokyo, I might have bought one just to sell to someone desperate enough in the states to buy for way too much.

I think they're trying to go the way Nintendo did with keeping everything a big secret, but they've given too much information out to keep people in anticipation like the Rev controller did. Not near as many people are sitting around curious about how it will look, not near as much speculation of the unknown. Either that, or they believe that their fan support is so loyal and die-hard, that they can take their time with the system and do it the right way. Which would be good for gamers who buy on released date, but I think the longer they wait to release the PS3, the harder it's going to be to get the blu-ray into the bigtime for entertainment. I say just wait for E3, where they will try to kill some of the Rev hype by bringing out their own system into display.

I had a tough time choosing between PSX and PSX, but I believe I made the right choice... My prediction is that most will be with the Current-Gen systems, as newer people keep joining the gaming community, and some old-time gamers leave the gaming world for growing up/getting tired of putting money down for a new system (or 3) every 5 years/getting tired of the same old games being redone all the time, and not finding any new joys. Anyway, as much as I love the Nintendo games, Playstation will keep winning 'em out for me as long as they hold the majority of RPGs on their systems. Well, that, and all those Dynasty Warriors games they keep releasing...
