BioWare confirms space combat for Star Wars: The Old Republic

Jul 26th 2010 6:31PM (Joystiq)
@Deschain absolutely agree with you bro. What's up aswell with going from unlimited(not actually unlimited technically but close enofth) ammo to haveing to re-load!!!!! (yes I'm screaming) how is that an upgrade? They changed too much to please FPS fans aswell_I'm one of them by the way but still love the original gameplay in 1 compared to 2. I just wanted a great story with polished gameplay... Not completelly diffrent gameplay. Also went from running at light speed to speed walking? I loved the inventory system, all I wanted was a more eficient way to manage it. Example, removing items to make room for new ones was a pain... One by one, allowing multiple items to be removed at once would have made me a happy camper.

Halo: Reach Limited Edition package shots drop in

@killer rin Im going with limited edition as I don't want the "statue" but I actually like the spartins, I just don't have anywere to put them. I'm non-the-less happy people like you still make a demand for stuff like that, even if I don't buy that addition, it's really awsome in my opinion... Well the more I talk the more I believe that maybe it's the fact I don't have anywere to put it nor the extra cash to justify buying it:( It is truelly a sad day for this halo fan:(

I agree with you bro.. Even if I don't like what you have to say(not saying I do or don't) I will only vote down spam and mindless jargon. A valid opinion is either left as is if not agreed upon by voter or voted up to show support for such opinion. "I do not agree with what you have to say but I will fight for your right to say it"

Pachter: Online multiplayer games to blame for game sales decline

Jul 26th 2010 5:41PM (Joystiq)
@Quayle I believe the game makers are loveing the time being spent on their games, it's the shareholders that cause conflict of interest. I also buy new games from developers that have gained my seal of quality whether I play them on the day of purchase of not. Example-I play halo more than anything but being that the first splinter cell up to Chaos Theory(my fav game of all time) were quality games which gameplay strongly match the character and plot, I have purchased all splinter cell games to show support and thanks to the developer even if I'm really going to still be playing halo. Sadly the new titles drifted to far away from the original and I no longer buy them, after I played conviction I observed their drift away from original game and canceled my limited addition pre-order. They want more money(shareholders) make even better games... As they say however, it's hard to follow up on something that is original and quality made.

Mass Effect 2 getting new DLC weapon pack before Shadow Broker

Jul 26th 2010 5:17AM (Joystiq)
How is having to reload an upgrade in mass effect 2 in comparison to unlimited ammo in mass effect 1? That's what I want to known. And we went from running really fast to speed walking, how? Is my understanding in the idea of advancement somehow wrong or were they trying to please the shooter fans just a tad bit too much.
