The point in making is that commending a big company's commitment to supporting their game is pointless since its not only expected but most all big companies support their game after release, hence making it useless mentioning said comments.
No different than a parent being commended for parenting their child. That's what we're supposed to do and it's still the norm when it's done. We don't need commending.
I know people won't like this comment, but I'm tired seeing people say "this shows that DICE cares and listens to the community." Not sure if you guys noticed, but after all this game's success, IT'S STILL NUMBER TWO TO CALL OF DUTY IN SALES!! And until they claim the number one spot, they will always care about the community feedback.
@PR0F3TA Don't misunderstand me. I'm not implying that the games were good, just that the prices severely dropped. I mean seriously, I hold off every year to purchase ios games because I know the price will eventually drop. Especially around holidays. I think I purchased like 3-5 in five minutes once because of a sale.
I have to assume they were still making a good amount of money of this game in order to pull that stunt. If it was a dead game with no new players every so often I don't it would have been a problem.
