@Sircolby45 I totally agree, i had the same issue when i pre-ordered a game though game crazy. I also completely agree with the Amazon comment.

The only reason i pre-ordered Rock Band 3 with Game Stop was because of the 3 free songs, which i know i could buy later, but its still a little incentive.

Other then that, i always buy my games though Amazon!

@Goten460 Very much so, but i got mine (silver) for free when i pre ordered Rock Band 3, so i get the game, the card and a years subscription to the mag. Only thing i had to do was turn in my other rewards card. Oh well, not like i was gonna use it..lol

@FamousLastX Yeah maybe now, but i remember when i got Rock Band 2, it didnt. And it forced me to update my system. It sucked nuts, till i realized that i could do an update though my pc and use media.

PS3 Firmware 3.41 mandatory update available now

@Giggman Very true that is is free and a great thing to have. But for some people its a bit more difficult to dl the updates. Hell i had to go to a friends house to dl the updates because i didn't have internet access to my ps3, only my pc.

The only problem i had at the time was that when i bought Rock Band 2 it would not play on my PS3 unless i had the update first.

But its all good now. But yes, in a way it does kinda suck that in some cases we don't have a choice but to dl the new updates.

PS3 Firmware 3.41 mandatory update available now

Last night i attempted to dl rb dlc and it said that my credit card info was invalid. I checked with sony and they told me that i have to contact my bank to find out if they do AVS (Address Verification System) The6y told me that if my bank doesn't support it that i cannot use my credit card. I have had my same card on file for at least 3 years with the PSN.

The lady at sony said that it might have something to do with the last update (3.40) because they are trying to have the system more secure to online transactions, and that if my bank dose not support AVS that i can only use the pre paid network cards. Has this happened to anyone else?

Now i know that its no big deal to go to the store and buy the cards, but like most of you here, we have been spoiled with certain amenities that the other systems don't have, and to have it taken away sucks.
