This being a new engine is news to me much less MW2 having a new engine. IW has always maintain the games were built on heavily modified COD 4 engine so that would be more like IW engine 3, 3.1, 3.2 respectively for each game.

Wait so a bunch of cut scenes look like a ton of fun??? I'm confused?

9 maps is actually quite a robust number for a battlefield game. One BF map probably equivalent to 2-3 COD maps when you consider all factors i.e. size, scale, playability.

But they have said they do have a big things planned for DLC and title updates so that I can't complain. DICE is well known for title support especially snuffing out bugs and glitches swiftly including game balancing.

Dice did make that clear. Like they say...you can't fix stupid and if people were too stupid to read the huge BETA word that was on the load screen AND in the top right corner during gameplay is just that...stupid.

I feel most of the comments are whiny kids. Any long time player of DICE games of the Battlefield variety knows that they listen tot he players and work fast and hard to fix balancing and patch the bugs. The same cannot be said for many of franchises.

I thought problems in the beta while annoying were not major and could easily be fixed. Whether it comes at launch or not I will still by the game. I bought MW2 at launch and that was a major fail with more launch glitches and bugs than any shooter I have played to date.

All in all with time the will end up where it needs to be. A well balanced game with little to no glitches.

I'm liking how long the assassination/melee animation is, much more realistic!!!!!

I forgot one thing...if you think Kinect dies with the 360 your a fool....of course it will appear in the next gen also so the argument of them riding out the 360 because of kinect is null!

My own prediction is that MS is going to deny deny deny.....BUT I think they have a very big opportunity to launch a new console simultaneously with HALO 4 so I'm putting y money on that. This same time frame would of course have a Call of Duty slated to launch assumingly with a new engine since they have yet to build a new engine for their shitty game. So what better time then Holiday 2012.

This would put the current generation at a 7 year life with with a 2012 launch which is quite a long time without a hardware refresh so to stretch the xbox 360 beyond this to 8 years would be crazy in my opinion.
