Cheezedog420 It's not really worth it, having the fancy case lighting is exciting for about 15 minutes and then any blinking lights are just distracting. I have my window facing my wifes desk now, was a waste of money. Nice setup, I would think that with some shopping around someone could do something similar for about 1200. I spent about CDN990 upgrading every but my case to pretty much what you have. I went with the X1900 XTX 512 card. A bit ghetto compared to yours, but it was less than $300 six months ago, wheras I couldnt find a 7900 512 for less than 600. 7. I think I remember seeing that one a couple months ago, I remember I priced one out that came to about 25K all told from Voodoo pc. It would have been nice I guess, but the problem with a computer like that is that it comes with divorce papers :) Deadpool
Daver, I think it was your(and I am paraphrasing, "lets see a review on this piece of shit" comment yesterday that has gotten this reaction. Calling something a piece of shit and calling for reviews is going to make people think that you have already made up your mind and are just looking for review to re-inforce your opinion.
Nova You should try and keep things civil. Just because this is the internet, there is no reason to go around calling completely subjective things like someone's opinion retarded.
Lefty I wont comment on your parenting, you know your daughter well enough to decide if something is right for her...but I do want to say Wow, she must have serious gaming genes. Halo is not a super hard game on normal, but its pretty impressive that a 4 year old would have that kind of co-ordination
daver Would any reviews convince you? No offense, but your mind seems to be pretty made up. I agree that the hype machine is pretty out of control on this game, but most of the impressions I have read are that they game is at the very least extremely promising. Lets try and wait till after the reviews start coming out to decide one way or the other.
I think the key here is that DWells is selling a luxury item, if what he was doing was actually hurting someone I would be against it all the way.
This is a luxury piece of electronics however, if someone is foolish enough to pay triple the asking price for it, then so be it, I dont really see anything wrong with what he is doing. If I could have done the same thing when the playstation came out, back when I actually really needed the money, I am sure I would have.
Also, hoping that someone should be killed while doing something that one finds distastful is a really awful thing to do. I am sure you are just joking Zak, but still, I really think that taking one ps3 off of the general market is not worth a death sentence.
