I was actually fairly surprised how good this game was (especially for being $15). I may have to pick up the map pack...

I challenge somebody in the community with programming skills (since I have none) to make this kind of crossover.

EVE Evolved: The great wormhole heist, part 1

It's this kind of stuff that makes me want to play EVE (tried a couple times, couldn't seem to get into it). Not because I'd do this kind of stuff, but just the fact that this kind of stuff is possible. I love the sheer openness of the game. Maybe I'll have to take a crack at it again soon.

Depending on how the two games go together, I might start playing EVE again.

This...might actually be awesome. It's been a while since I geeked out to some video game music. The last set I bought was Okami, which was also awesome.

Ha, this is awesome! If indie folks can do this kind of stuff, I'm excited to see what the big guys will do.

Is Star Wars: The Old Republic four years out of date?

I get kind of annoyed when people pull the whole "it's just like WoW" card. Of course there's going to be some similarities, it's the same genre. People still pay for games like CoD: Black Ops, even though the controls haven't really changed since the original (and have been adopted by other FPS titles as well).

It comes down to what makes the game unique. For me, I'm intrigued by the story of the game, as well as a few of the other mechanics in the game. Having a crew for your ship, for example, is something that is most definitely NOT in WoW, and I think is a cool idea.

I played WoW for many years and definitely plan on playing this title. I'm even doing a couple run-throughs of KotOR in anticipation.
