If Joystiq went and demanded answers from Microsoft, Microsoft still wouldn't answer and would choose to not give anymore interviews. It's just games, dude, not somebody spending your tax money on convertibles.

But none of the expanded information was really necessary to the story, all you need to know is "Samus got to Zebes and killed everybody" so they used the NES footage for that so as not to confuse the audience (a person who hasn't played a Metroid game)

Zero Mission is a remake of Metroid (I'm not sure why they didn't use footage from that here since it's the canon version).
Metroid Prime: Hunters is... well we like to pretend that never happened.

Aug 18th 2010 8:20PM (Joystiq)I still can't figure out how this game got those scores when critics keep stating how mediocre the single player is, and the multiplayer is almost unplayable with all the morons online. Even if you do find a good game online, the shooting itself is still simplistic and hollow compared to other big shooters.
