Yes: I hate people that think that we seem to think that playing Guitar Hero makes us killer musicians. People are just playing it cause it's fun, morons.
Also: on the other side of the coin, I hope that "Here's hoping that some sort of officially licensed, purchasable version of this type of guitar will be available soon." is intended to be sarcastic...
I didn't have a single problem with 'Micro-Transactions' when I first heard the idea. Now I do.
Why?
Because obviously some people have a different idea of exactly what 'Micro' means.
When you're talking about extra content like this, selling it in 3 seperate parts at 5 bucks each (or whatever) is stupid. If I DON'T buy one, I'm missing out on a LOT of the game - a game that probably should have only cost me $10 to begin with.
Sell me individual levels for 20 cents. New cars for 40. Give me the basics for 20 bucks, then let me build on it from there as *I* want to. THAT'S what 'Micro-Transactions' meant to me.
I mean - from what I understand, most of the 'Lumines' packs are extra backgrounds, anyway? I'm very much in favour of screwing over idiots, but how can you sit there and defend the fact that you're charging me for a JPEG?
