Ugh, I hope this enters the Gamestop $8.99 region soon. I want it, but not seriously enough to the point of shelving out serious cash for it. More of a novelty. Plus, I heard there have been a few patches, and some add-ons. Interesting...
You know what I don't like about RB fanboys? They all go: This song is already in RB. Well, we do some math and say that if you were to buy all 93 songs on this set list, it would run you, eh, $186 or so (depends if they come in packs or not). And, there are song things that they are never going to get, re-recorded "No More Mr. Nice Guy" anyone? So...don't point out what dlc is already there, point out what kicks ass and what doesn't. P.S. You can always avoid the Nickleback, its not forced.
Anthrax – "Caught in a Mosh" Avenged Sevenfold – "Beast And The Harlot" Big Country – "In a Big Country" Deep Purple – "Smoke on the Water" Devo – "Whip It" Elton John – "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" Joan Jett and the Blackhearts – "I Love Rock 'n Roll" Lynyrd Skynyrd – "Free Bird" Marilyn Manson – "The Beautiful People" (Cheating Here, It's DLC) Ozzy Osbourne – "Crazy Train" Queens of the Stone Age – "No One Knows"
Theres other things here, but I'm sticking to full-band versions in of the songs in the you-know-what franchise. Oh, and the DLC I have. Just being kinda picky here, and I can imagine somebody's gonna start yelling at this comment. But they do have "Foolin", and Buckcherry dlc (among others), so its okay. I remember looking at RB1 setlist and going "Hey, don't i have that song in....". Feel free to start bitching at me.
Hey now, I had a ton of fun playing Noby Noby Boy, and After Burner Climax (It was on sale :D) and Peggle (Got Peggle Nights for free! w00t!).
None of those cost me $15, and they are more entertaining than a lot of my physical titles (I hated GoW3, btw, it was a big let down, i didn't want a movie, i wanted a game).
On the other hand, i feel ripped off by braid, even though i got it half off. After Burner, despite being only 10-15 minutes kicks ASS! And both Peggle and Noby Noby Boy are endless! So those $5 games are pretty sweet....(Peggle was $10, but it's double awesome).
Still, you're right about the time thing. For me, Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden are a hell of a lot more fun than GTA IV, but thats just me.
