I took it as him taking the piss out of (mocking) both sides - the fans for complaining about the game as if they have a say and BioWare's poor customer service. In any case, I think the writer knows irregardless is not a word, that's why it's in bold, capitals and italics to draw attention to it.

Nice to see the media finally acknowledging this issue, even if it's an obvious tip-off from BioWare to make themselves look good. That thread on the forum is at over a 230 pages at this stage and, for most of that, BioWare ignored the community's plees for an update on the issue. The thread went 12 days without an update from admins.

It's also quite clear that this issue was known before release, if you look through the support pages you'll find a page on it that was created before March 6th.

Now, before I get attacked, I am actually a huge fan of Mass Effect and, up until the Dietz novel, they didn't take a wrong step in this franchise. However, I am annoyed at their customer service who at one point stopped responding on Twitter if you asked about this issue.

I used the community fix to get my Shepard to pretty much spot on except for the hair colour - they've removed ginger hair from the series. As I said on the forum, looks like us gingers really do go extinct in the future! And, no, fake red hair is NOT the same thing as ginger.

That's not the only asset they've changed or removed from the character creation - noses, eyes and complexion are different or not there. So will this fix put those back in? Or will they fix it so that it imports the raw data like ME2 did? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm happy to play with my Shep as he is but I don't like that I had to jump through hoops with the community fix to get to play as him.

I was in there today and the staff were telling people to cash in their GAME reward points while they still can. I feel sad for the staff. I think I could have walked in, picked up a load of stuff and walked out without paying and they wouldn't have cared. The only thing they might have said was "Here!! Let me remove the security tag on that".

As said, they operate too many stores. There's 14 GAME stores here in the Republic of Ireland. 8 of those are here in Dublin. While I don't generally buy pre-owned games, I think their ridiculous prices on them haven't helped them at all.

Poor business models and lack of common sense are to blame for this. As I said, I feel sad for the staff - many of whom I actually got on well with.

Saw this in Ireland a few years ago. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
