Heroes of Neverwinter brings D&D combat to Facebook

Oct 11th 2011 9:47AM (Joystiq)
If you're low on cash, venture into any User Created Dungeon with "Sniffer" in the title. Kill the "Fart Sniffer" in the first room, loot the body, end the adventure.

Castlevania: A miserable little pile of minutiae

Konami had a hotline with a recorded walkthrough. I don't remember the cost per minute, but I remember holding a cassette player up to phone and recording the whole damn thing. It was INVALUABLE.

Crytek boss: free game demos 'prohibitively expensive'

Apr 17th 2010 8:37AM (Joystiq)
There was a very thorough article on The Escapist about piracy. In the end, one of the recommendations made to reduce piracy was to release a demo! Releasing a demo gets more people excited about playing the game and increases the chance of buying it.

Cryptic's Jack Emmert: No Plans For Consoles, STO over 100K subscribers

Mar 23rd 2010 7:03PM (Massively)
How does 100k stack up compared to other MMOs in their first 45 days or so? Cryptic boasted 1 million (forum) accounts, if only 10% of those are paid subscribers, isn't that low?
