on a side note,
I have always thought that they should make the pokemon battles similar to smash bros, where battles are a combination of skill and build of pokemon. Each pokemon's stat would affect its combat, like speed would affect how fast your pokemon would move on screen. The world outside battles could remain the way it is or *gasp* maybe a 3D environment to explore.
