A Metroid marriage proposal that would make the Chozo proud

That's how my girlfriend spells her name...

I hope she doesn't see this... =[

Skyrim to have multiple DLC releases, powerful buckets

Dec 12th 2011 6:22PM (Joystiq)
You guys know that you can't have multiplayer, right? There are features in the game that would make things too complicated, such as time slowing, two people trying to talk to one person at a time, two people trying to use crafting tools at once, and consoles can't properly present this game in it's entirety anyways. Why include networking to their list of things to worry about?

@blueskyv201 There was no opinion in the beginning, are you that dumb?

Do you have such a lack of life to go around and comment on conversations that you aren't even involved in?

Get a life you defensive geek. The opinions that were in the middle, if that's what you were referring, to of the conversation were irrelevant to the original comment made anyway. Opinions are also just opinions, not determining factors. So no, they can't be stupid. You fall in the category he was talking about. Ironic.

@Drakkenfyre Why are you still putting words in my mouth?

"I don't like it, therefore it sucks" Never said that, and I don't fall into that "category".

"You don't like the game? Don't like it." AGAIN, I never said I don't.

"The fact the people are still playing it in huge numbers this many years after it's release tends to backup the fact that it's a good game." Like I said, no it doesn't.

"You are acting like your sole opinion is the judge of the worth of a game." Mmmm, nope, did not.

"You don't like the game anymore, therefore you can't understand why anyone does." I can.

"But don't insult the ones who do, and find it fun." I didn't, that was up for interpretation.

"That makes you sound like you are one of these short-attention span kids..." I'll just refer to the catalyst of this conversation here: "Considering there are thousands of games on Steam, do you know how stupid that makes you sound?"

It's not my fault people get offended by a simple sentence that has no intention of offense. I didn't throw a first punch, but people find a reason to punch and lay the blame elsewhere.

It's easy for people to argue on the internet, it's the anonymous privacy people use. You don't know me, or what I really do. The other person in an argument could be a friend, which would be the solution anyways. Why argue? Why start an argument? Over a simple few words that was completely irrelevant to what the reaction were? Just relax, get over it, get on with your day, enjoy things, move forward, stay positive. (And I'm not targeting you, I'm not out to get you.)

Peace

@Drakkenfyre Maybe I shouldn't end the conversation, because all you want to do is argue. I tried to end the conversation, because maybe it's just the right thing to do, and may save us all time.

I may be getting down voted, simply because the main people who are reading these comments are huge fans of the subject of the headline. My opinion has nothing to do with hype.

You're assumptions are astounding as well. I never said I didn't like Valve. I actually had a little fun with TF2 for a little while. I didn't play the game for YEARS however.

One thing I do NOT like is when people defend opinions against facts. Just because something is popular, doesn't mean it HAS to be great or good. There are famous people and/or things that win awards, not because they are good or great, but simply because that is Capitalism. To help define what may be good things, good things, in this context (which this subject has been taken out of) MAY include things that are truly of worth, have high production value, and may contribute to learning or the advancement of a large amount of human beings.

Besides these facts, there are my opinions, which I chose to set aside earlier. I may be very picky, because I have other interests in life, and like games that have an incredible amount of production value, is not very repetitive, and I can really learn from and have fun at the same time. That IS just me though. I do understand there are a wide variety of interests in people out there, the world is huge.

Now, to reflect upon my original comment that seemed to spark a lot of defensive tendencies. I just have a curiosity of where the interest comes from when to it comes to something like this, it blows me away. As a person, I'm just certainly not traditional, and believe that exposure to new ideas and things could be good for people. I'm not naive or close-minded, and I CERTAINLY do NOT mean to offend, that's not a goal in my life.

So to hopefully put this all to rest. Have a good weekend.

@Drakkenfyre Find something better to do than to prove me wrong. Twist my words as you like. Doesn't matter to me.

@Drakkenfyre Essentially, but I didn't say I hated anything. I may be disappointed people don't branch out in general, but there's no point in hating something. I just realize how biased hardcore fans are, and how something of little value can be greatly valued. It's chaos, which is inevitable. There's also no point in me talking about it, because it's not going to change the way people think about these things, and why should it?

@ClarkyAC Just because a large number of people play a game, doesn't make it "good", whatever that means. MOST gamers are simply compulsive and are easy to jump the gun on fads and addictions in the market.

So, no, I'm not "trolling". I'm being observant. I'm now done talking about this.
