@oJMan240o As for BioWare, I really wish the doctors were still involved in the development portion and hadn't decided to move on to managing the company. Can't help but think that certain recent missteps in both ME and DA wouldn't have come about with them at the wheel full time.
Only thing I have to say is that I don't think they broke. Broken would imply that they didn't work when in reality it was much more likely that current projects were dropped to focus on development for more advanced tech. It happens in current times as well, just look at Square and FFXIII. Same thing, there are just considerably more games coming out that take notice off that sort of thing.
Also, BioWare was a thing, an entity developing games, well before 1995. The doctors confirmed this in their interview with Ken Levine for "Irrational Interviews". They only officially became BioWare as a company in 1995. So that train was rolling before RPGs supposedly broke. Just thought I'd point that out.
I find it hard to believe that, as much a I respect him, Mr. McElroy was able to obtain an accurate representation of this game without playing wit people who aren't also reviewing the game.
Also, why would Bethesda promise to fix this... they didn't make it. They either need to quit letting developers they don't trust make games or quit letting other people make games for them period.
I wonder how they're going to use that little grappling hook thing attached to Ezio's blade. Obviously that's the new weapon Game Informer was saying would change the way you navigate the city. But I'm wondering if it will be used in combat at all.
@houser I agree, though it does seem like they are straddling the line a little more, keeping their current formula, but mixing in a little more RPG to bring back some of the RPG fans that were turned off by the lack of those features in ME2. I also think they learned a lot from DA2's reception. How far they can push the simplification before it turns people off.
I trust the team that works on Mass Effect though, much more than the one that works on DA. They do good work.
And all the people at BioWare create great characters and that's more than enough reason to play a BioWare game.
Yeah... my Halo Reach display needs some company on the shelves. Maybe the awesomeness of Commander Shepard and the Normandy can will them off that rock (err... display base) alive this time around.
You help your case so much by bashing people who like Sony and getting pissed off a joke.
You're probably just butthurt at the idea that, maybe, the thing you used to justify bad mouthing Sony and a bunch of Sony fans might not be true, thus invalidating all of your already blatantly ignorant blind rage.
