Have you ever actually played Red Dead Revolver? It runs on a different engine, has different controls, is designed to be a goofy cowboy game rather than a realistic Western game, is set 50 years prior to Redemption and Redemption has no recurring characters from Revolver.

Redemption is a VERY original game.

It's up to the developer if they want to make a game with ads for iOS and they are free to choose between Apple's iAds and Google's Admob.
Many developers have said that the reason so many of their games are free is because Android users will just pirate them instead if they weren't - pirating is extremely easy on an "open" OS. A lot of games on Android have been pirated more than they have been sold - piracy is common on "closed" OSs like Windows Phone 7 or iOS too, but it is not this easy and therefore not as common as on open systems and does not go to the same level as on Android.

This, plus the BC2 Map Pack 7 and the Halo Noble Map Pack has killed Black Ops for me during the holiday season - I probably won't touch it until January
