Pro tip: If your getting excessive timeouts and your on Firefox, put "about:config" in your browser bar and filter for timeout.

Set your HTTP keep-alive timeout to something obscene and hope for the best.

I'm very happy with the quality of some of the new iPhone games.

Having been part of and run my own website that was large at times (it wasn't WoW related, but I did run a Flash Arcade that got about 6-10k hits a day), I'd be more worried about my content being taken than the actual price of my hosting.

The money made from ad revenue and now the "premium" clients more than covers the bandwidth. If they were short on cash, the premium client would have come out a long time ago.

Here's a thought for all the add-on hosting sites:

Give us something more than "Hey, we'll update all your add-ons to save you a few clicks" and give us something worthwhile to pay for; the public will be much more receptive to innovation than convenience.

For me, it's mostly the quick and easy to read articles. I have limited time at work to read articles, and going through essays isn't something I have time for.

Depending on the day of the week, it's usually between 1-3 hours.

If I don't have work on Saturday or Sunday, however, that bumps up to around 3-5 hours, or until my girlfriend wakes up and makes me go to flea markets.

Technically, .991 would come out before version .99, since it's a lower number.

If anything it'd be .99a or .99.1

Looks like the site got hammered pretty hard, I can't get it to load at all.
