Best DS game, huh?

Out of the six or so games I own, the one closest to the magical ten would have to be Mario Kart DS.

As you said in your TWEWY review, not every game is perfect, and Mario Kart DS is far from perfect - the faint wiff of "Party Game" emanates from it, with a growing number power-ups and semi-randomized game design elements introduced specifically to screw somebody over big time (usually the guy in first place).

But it's also a game I can come back to just about any time, anywhere, and it doesn't seem to get old. If I need to kill five or ten minutes, there's nothing like turning the game on for a few races - even if I eventually get frustrated by one too many blue shells and lightning bolts.

The Gravemind, obviously. Mean green mutha from otherspace - and he's bad. Plus, I mean, I'm not really in to that whole tentacle rape stuff. It's just a bad deal all around and that's not even factoring in the legion of squid-zombies.

Sorry. Die hard Sonic fan here. That game makes me really angry and I am so sorry I paid full price for it.
