those are some blocky shadows on that wall there. why all the detail in the character models, but shadows that look like lego blocks??? i know it's hands down above anything that's been done on a nintendo handheld before, but if it was gonna be that bad, they could've just excluded the shadows.

Awesome! "Third generation gaming!" Only a little less than half of where we are now! "Real Time Action Graphics!"... Stop the presses!

Hopefully that warning will stop some poor kids' grandparents from ruining their Christmas!

Wow. I'll be taking the grass starter for the first time.

He's a snide bit of ivy. I like that.
The Pig is tepid.
Oshawott is the only one that isn't really... words. Like "osha" sounds kinda like ocean and "wott" sounds like otter and water. But it's not as "in your face" with the literal meanings, like the other two.

Unova, tho? Makes me think of an ovary. *vomit*

Games for Windows Marketplace relaunches right on time

FFFFFUUUUUU!!!!

This is cool and all, but I'm so pissed that after literally YEARS of waiting to buy the game on the cheap, I cracked and bought GTA IV on Steam last week for 20 bucks. If I'd waited a week, I could have saved another 10 bucks. Oh well, at least I got Vice City and III for $3 each on Steam, and San Andreas for $4 a few weeks ago on Games For Windows Live.

I just wish there was some kind of return or price matching type of thing for games. There's nothing I hate more as a consumer than getting caught with egg on my face.
