I rock. I'm a rockstar. I've got my game on. Go play.

I liked "Arsenic and Old Lace", although it was more of a murder comedy.

Fanswag: USA Today Crossword Challenge

Aug 13th 2008 10:41AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I last did a paper crossword on an airplane flight, the one in the back of the magazine. Since I got my DS, I've mainly been doing ones from the NYT or Nintendo carts.

DS Fanswag: Etrian Odyssey II

Most difficult was that early DS adventure game where you try to seduce girls on as a ski instructor... not that it was hard to play, you just DIDN'T want to.

Fanswag: Free Roogoo for you [update]

Roogoo is insanely delicious.

Lucasarts: Adventure games might come back, DS cart size too small for ports

Jun 2nd 2008 3:14PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
The DS has 4MB of RAM, so that's comparable to early Windows systems and all of the DOS systems. The main 66MHz ARM chip is roughly equivalent to a 33MHz 486 without the math coprocessor, although a lot depends on how the cache is used. The largest cartridge is about 256MB (or 2048 megabits), so games that were significantly smaller than a CD can be ported. With compressed music, you could do Loom or either of the first two Monkey Island games pretty well, IMO.

DS Fanswag: Ride 'em, cowboy!

I love the updates from Japan.

Joyswag: Win a copy of Ikaruga (XBLA)

Apr 10th 2008 3:42PM (Joystiq)
My favorite was Bangai-O! on the Dreamcast. Can't wait for the US release of the DS version of that.

Fanswag Weekly: Win Ikaruga for XBLA!

My favorite was Bangai-O! on the Dreamcast... I'm looking forward to the new DS version when it comes out in the US.

Would You Rather ... The New Hotness Edition

Apr 9th 2008 6:01PM (Joystiq Xbox)
The thing that I'd most like to see to manage the XBLA catalog is the ability to hide titles that you've bought or that you're not interested in (seen the demo, hated it!) They could stay hidden until there's new content for them, but it would instantly allow me to declutter the interface and make new titles more visible.

As for the poll, I love both new and old titles, but I prefer getting new IP, although I'd bundle redesigned and reworked versions of older games with that.
