Not sure what all the hate is about. Considering one man hand drew all of these graphics, I think that's pretty damn impressive.

The graphics are on par with Castle Crashers. I also got to play this at PAX and it's extremely fun. Behemoth makes some of the best XBLA games available.

So hear me out. I know this sounds dumb, and I would also share in your disappointment.

However, my professor worked on this game for a few months as a freelancer. He played these portions, and their completely optional. Also, he said they were hilarious and a ton of fun.

So, I wouldn't let this down your spirits too much.

While I'm sure the man knows what he's doing, putting any confidence into Flash at this point seems unwise.

Adobe is practically dropping all support and development for Flash. Hence all the lay-offs that have been occurring in the past few weeks. It seems HTML 5 is everyone's focus regarding the web.

It's simple really.

COD is far, far easier to play than Battlefield 3. (or any other popular FPS)
This should be obvious by the amount of casual gamers who only play Call of Duty titles.

That's not a bad thing, just something to consider.

You're right. I used to work for a company that sold things on Ebay.
We could bid this up to 4,000 dollars and just never pay.

We would receive a "not paid item strike" so we could then proceed to do it again, two more times. This would certainly piss that dude off.

You do realize they aren't trying to make capital off of this? It's to PROTECT their trademark. Their goal is to have Mojang change the name. So when the next developer comes along with "the scrolls" or "Elder Skroll" they have a defense and letting this slip wouldn't be used against them in court.

EXACTLY.

It isn't as simple as The Elder Scrolls =/= Scrolls.

They are protecting their trademark. I discussed this with one of my game development classes last week. If they do not take some action against him, possible future trademarks infringements can use Mojang's game as an example for a potential defense.

"Hey, you never protected the name from "Scrolls" when that was released."

It's just legal business, not a personal grudge match.

I don't understand this "build your own desktop for $500" myth.
I've been looking into building my own rig, and if you actually want your desktop to run say BF3 or Skyrim well, you're going to be spending closer to $800 not including your keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

It's one thing if some public servers had this enabled but the fact that private servers are implementing this isn't that unbelievable. I mean, if tf2 was your favorite game then suddenly it became super frustrating, why wouldn't you make the server you play on private?
